Driver Class Guide

Role: Vehicles & transport

Signature Weapons: Ground vehicles & transports

What the Driver Track Does

The Driver track is WARDOGS' combined-arms specialist: the player who turns a 256 km² map into a twenty-minute war instead of a twenty-minute hike. Transport gets your squad to the Control Zone alive, fighting vehicles contest the armor that dominates open ground, and logistics runs move cash and matériel where the team needs it.

Signature Equipment

The track's inventory is the vehicle pool itself — transports for squad insertion, fighting vehicles for direct fire support, and the spawn-vehicle assignments that differ between the game's three factions (community-documented; expect variation as Early Access evolves). Pair the track with Engineer for repairs and the squad has a self-sufficient armored element.

How to Play Driver

Drive like the vehicle is the loadout. Losing a fighting vehicle costs the team far more than its spawn cost, so route around known anti-armor positions, dismount before the last 200 meters, and never park inside the Control Zone's open kill boxes. The best Drivers are boring: alive, mobile, and always carrying a full squad.

Progression Priorities

Level the track alongside a regular squad that uses your rides. Vehicle play is the least solo-friendly discipline in WARDOGS — a Driver without passengers is a target with a horn. Once unlocks land, invest spare cash in vehicle-friendly secondary gear rather than a second primary rifle.
